about mallory

From a young age I felt drawn to provide care, which later inspired the desire for me to work for reproductive justice. I grew up in Denver, Colorado where my first job was babysitting young kids in my neighborhood. I enjoyed both getting to know the kids as well as spending time with their parents and learning about how life had shifted for them in this new stage of life. This was a comfort that has guided me to nurture new families.

In my undergraduate education, I focused my passions on activism, community, and alternative healing. Within this emphasis, I learned about and experienced the necessity of Reproductive Justice, especially within BIPOC communities. I was gifted the knowledge of what it meant to be a doula from a pamphlet called The Radical Doula Guide—it spoke to me and laid out a path full of meaning and intention, which is what I had been searching for.

Knowing that we can only make decisions with what information we have at the time, I support and empower each birthing person to advocate for themselves & to provide resources and tools to help make the most informed decisions for them and their families—ones they can feel proud of. I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care (informational, emotional, and physical) regarding pregnancy and labor. I strongly believe in the power of personalized care (another reason I became a doula) as it creates more positive labor outcomes and aids healing and community building.

I believe that all birthing people deserve this right & because of that, I aim to make my services accessible to you. I aim to help all families have positive memories surrounding their birth experiences.  I believe that birth is natural and normal. My philosophies around birth include empowerment, movement, breathwork, essential oils, massage, and affirmations.

Currently a graduate student at Emperor’s College to become a Licensed Acupuncturist, I am passionate about providing further care for all fertility, birth, and postpartum needs. I can’t wait to share more about perinatal support from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective!

I am here to be with you throughout the process!
